Service Description

Diving Supervision Support — Inshore Works TEXORD provides experienced Diving Supervision support for inshore and inland commercial diving projects, ensuring dive operations are planned and conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with UK diving legislation. Acting as the competent person on-site, the Diving Supervisor holds overall responsibility for the safe conduct of diving operations — from pre-dive planning and risk assessment through to real-time management of divers in the water and emergency response. All supervision is carried out in accordance with the Diving at Work Regulations 1997 and the relevant HSE Approved Code of Practice, L104 (Commercial Diving Projects Inland/Inshore), covering diving project plans, risk assessments, diver certification and medical fitness checks, communications, and emergency and contingency procedures. The Diving Supervisor ensures every diver on the team holds a valid HSE-approved qualification appropriate to the task, and that equipment, breathing gas supplies, and standby arrangements meet the standards required under the ACOP before any diver enters the water. This service is available as standalone supervision support to other diving contractors, or integrated directly into TEXORD's own UXO and EOD diving operations, where the Diving Supervisor works alongside underwater EOD personnel qualified to IMAS 09.60, ensuring both diving safety and explosive ordnance risk are managed together under one coherent system of work, our Maritime UXO Services can step in.
