Company Policy

1. Health, Safety, Welfare & Environmental Policy Summary

TEXORD Ltd is committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of our employees, subcontractors, clients and anyone else who may be affected by our work. Given the nature of our activities — Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Unexploded Ordnance engineering, and commercial diving support — we operate a risk management system aligned with ISO 45001:2018, apply the applicable HSE Approved Codes of Practice and CIRIA guidance, and hold the view that work-related accidents and ill health are avoidable. No commercial or programme requirement takes precedence over the protection of people from unacceptable risk. The full policy is available upon request.

2. Whistleblowing Policy Summary

TEXORD Ltd is committed to the highest standards of openness, honesty and accountability. This policy provides a route for employees, workers and subcontractors to raise genuine concerns about suspected wrongdoing, in line with the protections available under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998, without fear of victimisation or disadvantage. Independent, confidential advice is also available through Protect, the UK's whistleblowing charity, and concerns may be raised directly with a relevant regulator at any time. The full policy is available upon request.

3. Quality Policy Summary

TEXORD Ltd exists to provide consultancy and end-to-end project management for risks connected with high-explosive events and unexploded ordnance, aiming to exceed client expectations through rigorous technical expertise and consistently high service delivery. We operate a Quality Management System built around ISO 9001:2015, pursue continual improvement with a target of zero customer complaints, and hold our UXO and EOD consultancy to the technical standards set out in CIRIA guidance (C681, C754 and C785). The full policy is available upon request.

4. Environmental Policy Summary

TEXORD Ltd recognises that our operations — particularly the clearance of unexploded ordnance by detonation in the marine environment, and our wider diving and vessel activities — carry environmental risks that go beyond typical office-based impacts. We operate an Environmental Management System aligned with ISO 14001:2015, hold the necessary marine licences before any detonation work, and follow current JNCC guidance to minimise the risk of injury to marine mammals, including the use of Marine Mammal Observers and acoustic monitoring where required. The full policy is available upon request.

5. Equal Opportunities Policy Summary

TEXORD Ltd is committed to meeting its obligations under the Equality Act 2010 across every stage of employment — recruitment, development, promotion, training and pay. No employee, worker or job applicant will be treated less favourably or subjected to harassment because of a protected characteristic, and every employee shares responsibility for putting this policy into practice through their everyday conduct. The full policy is available upon request.

6. Modern Slavery & Ethical Supply Chain Policy Summary

TEXORD Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business dealings, and to ensuring modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or supply chains. Although we do not currently meet the turnover threshold for the statutory reporting duty under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we adopt the same principles voluntarily, applying particular due diligence to labour supply arrangements for subcontracted personnel. The full policy is available upon request.

7. Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy Summary

TEXORD Ltd holds itself to a high standard of ethical conduct in all its business dealings. We do not offer, give, solicit or accept bribes, kickbacks or facilitation payments, whether dealing with public officials, regulators or private individuals, and our procedures are built around the UK Ministry of Justice's six principles for adequate anti-bribery procedures. This applies with particular force given our routine contact with regulators such as the police, HSE and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. The full policy is available upon request.
